This defensive driving course is six hours long and is approved by the state of Texas for ticket dismissal. During the course, you'll review topics such as courtesy on the road, driver attitude and responsibility, and Texas rules and regulations, in addition to many others. After you've completed the course, you'll truly understand the latest defensive driving concepts and techniques for surviving on Texas roadways.

To qualify for a traffic ticket dismissal course in Texas, drivers must:
- request permission to take the course by the appearance date shown on the ticket, in person or by mail, and submit:
- completed copy of the Affidavit form with notarized signature
- proof of a valid non-commercial Texas driver's license
- court administrative fee
- copy of insurance policy
- admit guilt or sign a statement that they do not contest their citation
- NOT have had a ticket dismissed within the previous twelve months
- NOT have been cited for driving 25 mph or more over the posted speed limit
- NOT possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- submit the certificate of completion to the course within 90 days once permission to take the course is granted
- submit a copy of the driver record to the court with the certificate of completion, if required
