Texas Department of Public Safety
When you take a defensive driving course online, the court may require you to provide a driver record depending on the county you received your traffic ticket. All driving records are processed through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Please allow up to ten days for the Texas DPS to process your driver record. Typically, driver records are delivered in four to five days. When you order your driver record online, your order is completed online and sent directly to the Texas Department of Public Safety for processing; you will not need to go to the Texas DPS to receive your record.
Remember! Once you receive your Texas driving record, review your driving history to ensure that your information and history are accurate.
Our customer service department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer all of your questions about obtaining your driving record from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Just give us a call at 1-877-299-4511!
